Roles:

• Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop effective test automation strategies.
• Maintain and update automation scripts as new features and enhancements are introduced.
• Analyze and report on test results, identifying defects and areas of improvement.
• Execute automated tests and review results for performance, functionality, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices for test automation are followed.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test scripts for various applications using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Execute and maintain automated tests for both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify test requirements and design test cases.
• Ensure test coverage across different platforms and devices (web, mobile, etc.).
• Track, document, and report defects found during testing.
• Integrate test automation into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest test automation tools and technologies.
• Work on performance and load testing as needed.
• Support manual testing efforts when automation coverage is insufficient.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or other related automation frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques (unit, integration, functional, regression, etc.).
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to write clear and concise bug reports and documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
